Linda Bean’s Perfect Maine – Lobster Pounding Film

This film was created to play in Linda Bean’s newly created museum dedicated to the history of lobster fishing in Maine. It is geared toward children and explains how lobsters are kept in a pound during the winter months, in order to provide fresh lobsters all year long. Fresh Produce Productions Unlimited is the production company behind the film and I was contracted to provide post production services.

Honor Flight

Honor Flight is a charity organization that honors the remaining veterans of WWII by taking them on a trip to visit their memorial in Washington D.C.  Joe Dorsey and I had the privilege of tagging along on one of the flights and we decided to produce this piece. The Bro Bowl: 30 Years of Tampa Concrete

Troy Durett, Lance Robson and myself started documenting the free public skate park in Perry Harvey, Sr. Park in Tampa, FL known lovingly as as The Bro Bowl.  Our initial idea was to document the impending destruction of the bowl and the efforts of the skaters and Tampa locals to help “save the bowl” from re-development.  However, during the first six months of shooting we quickly realized that our documentary was shaping up to be more about the history of the bowl and the people who skate there. Torch Relay 2007

From sea to shining sea

Beginning in 2006, Blackburst Entertainment began documenting the yearly Torch Relay for Children’s Miracle Network.  The Torch Relay begins in Bethesda, Maryland, travels south through Florida and then out west, ending in Los Angeles, California.  Blackburst’s task was to capture each day of this 26 day event on video and produce a DVD. The final DVD contained 26 separate  2-3 minute video of each day of the event. Continue Reading →
